I live in CA, i know if they group ship my
harddrive from their base, it will took a long time, but i just chose the
cheapest way. but to my suprise, they shipped it from their CA partner using UPS
ground and it took only 3 days from i placing the order. that's really cool! but
for other merchant, it's usually not the case, like sunshinedigitaldeals, it
took them 2 week to process my order, and they will add a lot of extra fees they
never mentioned online. i'll never order anything from them. nut for
USBdiscount, i love them! |

I say excellent because the customer service was
just that. Initally, they sent me the wrong phone, when it arrived I immediatly
called them and within 10 minutes after my phone call they had sent out the
proper one. They give you the tracking number so you can keep track of where
your shipment is. They also credited my account 10 dollars to pay for the
postage and trouble of sending the wrong phone back. An email was sent
apologizing as well. I'll shop there again and will tell my friends to do so as
well. |

When the product arrived, one of the segments on
the LCD on the back of the camera was not working so I wrote USBdiscount and
asked them what their return policy was. I haven't heard back yet. I'm assuming
that everyone is out for Christmas and I hope to hear from them soon on this
matter |

The ordering process was very smooth. When I
received the product (a cell phone) however, there was a a manufacturing error,
i.e. it was not a problem caused by USBdiscount. I called USBdiscount and asked
what the process was for returns and was given an address to which I could send
the product back. USBdiscount then informed me that they had run out of the
phone I had ordered and that the manufacturer had stopped making it (which I
knew prior to ordering it). They told me they had asked their affiliate stores
for other copies of the phone, but had no luck. USBdiscount then offered me
another (slightly more expensive) phone as a replacement at no extra cost. I was
not interested in that product, but asked about another, even more expensive
product. While I was not given a "straight up" exchange, USBdiscount gave me an
excellent discount (which easily covered the costs I had incurred to send the
original, faulty phone back) on the phone I had asked about and I received it
the next day. Very quick delivery (less than 24 hours in both cases) and prompt,
informative customer service. |
